Class Description:

Clay is a versatile and enjoyable medium for artists of all skill levels. During this 2-week course, students will start with the basics of clay and work on a variety of projects and techniques, including hand building, wheel-throwing, and more. There are three pottery wheels that will be shared during group classes where students will work on wheel-thrown and hand-built projects simultaneously.

Projects include: Coil vases, wall pockets, pinch bowls, individual projects chosen or assigned by the instructor, and wheel-thrown vessels. Students will bring home their hand-made pieces that have been high-fired using safe and non-toxic glazes, making them dishwasher safe, durable, and fully functional. The last session of each group class will be a scheduled group glaze day, and once the pieces have been fired, students will be notified of the pickup time to see the final result of their hard work.

Refund Policy: If you are unable to attend a class due to scheduling we will do our best to switch you into another open class. Students must give at least a two week notice before start date to be switched into another beginner class upon registration and payment. No refunds will be given in the event of non attendance after registration and payment confirmation.
